At Climatech, we provide custom window and door components to customers within the residential and commercial markets. We can make parts from a range of materials and work with any parts our customers provide, ensuring they receive solutions that fully meet their needs.
How We Serve the Window & Door Industry
We provide high-quality, cost-effective production and tooling services. Our employee-owned company has an excellent culture that translates to personalized customer service, fast communication, innovation, and personal investment in every project. We put our customers first in every project, offering quick response times and achieving 99.5% on-time delivery.
We can produce virtually any window or door component our customers request. If we do not have the equipment or processes to accommodate a request, we will create new ones to fulfill it. We can produce various window/door components, including sweeps, thermal brakes, jamb liners, glazing beads, shipping covers, PD interlocks, and weatherstrips. We can also work with customer-provided parts as needed.
Once a part is created, we can customize it further to prepare it for use. Our services include:
- Cutting to length/tolerance
- Miter cutting
- Adhesive application
- Foam accessory application
We generally handle projects involving high production volumes, but we can accommodate lower production volumes on a case-by-case basis. Typical tooling lead times range from six to eight weeks. Once the tooling is approved, production takes between three to four weeks.
We can utilize a variety of materials in our window and door projects, including:
- Specialty composite polymers with high heat deflection temperature (HDT) and/or low coefficient of linear thermal expansion (CLTE)
We build each of our products to meet exact specifications so they fit as intended during installation. We work within the following tolerances for these operations and materials:
- Plastics: Tolerances for plastic components vary from project to project; the larger the component, the larger the tolerances.
- Thermal Plastics: Tolerances for thermal plastic components fit industry-wide standards.
- Extrusions: Tolerances for extruded components follow industry guidelines. However, they depend on the component’s size and material.
We work with each of our customers to design and create parts that fall within their tolerance needs. Our exclusive DFM process ensures complete transparency and fast communication throughout projects.
Window & Door Applications
Our products are commonly used in residential window and door applications, but they also find use in commercial curtain wall applications. While we primarily provide vinyl windows, we also maintain capabilities for aluminum, composite, and wooden windows. Typical types include casement windows, sliding patio doors, double hung, and lift and slide.
